Help code to transfer data from mysql to excel sheet

hi !
i m new to IT.i want to know ,how the data from a mysql database can be sent to excel sheet...............kindly help me..............thanks

If you have phpmyadmin, click on the "export" tab. Select "Microsoft Excel 2000", check the "Save as file" option. Then click on "Go".

actually,i want to transfer the datas from mysql to jsp when "search" button is clicked.Then if the user likes to take a printout,he should click "print" button.At this moment,the data in the database has to be sent to an excel sheet.Then the user can take print from excel sheet.I completed the first task.I didn't get the idea to perform the second task.....kindly help me...........thank u.........
