hi
it could be a virus attack, but first (if ur sing XP)go to tools->folder->options and see ifshow hidden file option is enabled if not enable it ..wait for sometime ..if the setting does not apply theres a good chance of virus attack..

goto run->and type c:\autorun.inf press enter
if your computer is infected the a file will open ..
stating
autorun=svvhost.exe something like that
