how do you gain reputation i thought that when someone gives you a good comment on a post it goes up. am i wrong. i got 5 or 6 comments in my latest recieved reputation box in my cp but my rep never moves above ten.

The amount that your reputation increases is based on the reputations of the people who gave you comments. If people with reps of 10, themselves, gave you kudos, your rep won't increase by much.
