Dear all, we recently launched our 2 Press release websites and I would VERY much appreciate reviews from fello webmasters.

http://www.openpress.com and http://www.prbot.com

If you have a business website feel free to submit your own free press release. We are syndicated by Google and Yahoo and by submitting press releases through us you will obtain better search engine ranking.

Just make sure to include your website URL in the press release somewhere.

Anyway, please review our sites?

Diane

way to long of a nav on the side. have drop down menus. like instead of ten entries for Arts & Entertainment. Have just Arts & Entertainment then when you mouse over it a menu pops up the left with the rest of the possible things it could be. Especially for sports too. Way to long of a nav, i wouldnt want to read through it.

PLUSES
  1. Great content.
  2. Text-only tag line (I seen a lot of people include this within their logo image -- bad practice)
  3. Colors
NEGATIVES
  1. No search utility
  2. No Site Map
  3. Lack of contrast between menu links and blue background. It's hard to read--the text sorta disappears. You need to make it STAND OUT.
  4. To much on front page ... Do you really believen that the majority of people will scroll down to view all that content. Add a search function.
  5. Make your GUARNATEE offer stand out -- get the viewers ATTENTION.

>No search utility

There is a search utility, it is called Custom Sort. It is a professiona press release site so no open search will be added because our clients would be open to targeted spam.

>No Site Map

The whole front page is a site map.

>Lack of contrast between menu links and blue background. It's hard to read--the text sorta disappears. You need to make it STAND OUT.

No idea what you are talking about. The only dark text on dark bg is the text ads and we want them that way. It makes people pay more attention to what is there. Curiosity...

>To much on front page ... Do you really believen that the majority of people will scroll down to view all that content.

Yes. Journalists and content shopperswant to see the latest stuff on the front page without having to search.

>Add a search function.

There is a search. It is called Custom Sort.

>Make your GUARNATEE offer stand out -- get the viewers ATTENTION.

What guarantee offer?
