The forum skin is a little plain, but it's pretty nice. I'll make 2 strong suggestions:

1) Don't make the logo flash at the top. It's very distracting and violates just about every HCI convention out there.

2) Don't have popups on your forum. They will drive members away very fast. I run a huge forum and have learnt what to do and what not to do and that is a definite turn-off.

only a forum cannot write more for forums.

I like the look of it. It may be to your advantage to have a homepage that is not the actual main forum index. That way you can have a clear explanation of what the purpose of the website is, and kind of draw in new visitors with something that is visually catchy. Then have the homepage link to the main forum page.

That being said, as I look at it again, it seems pretty basic and to the point, which is nice.
