dg834g v4 netgear problem

hello i have a problem i recently bought a new computer which has windows vista 32 bit. i tried to install my netgear modem router but when i get to the part where the installation loads up internet explorer i get a runtime error
runtime error !program :c:/programfiles/internet explorer/iexplore.exe
