I recently tried to add the Addonics Express 34 card to my computer, as well as the Sans Digital 4TB system. I was trying to get RAID 5, but it did not see the hard drives after what I thought was a correct install.
The problem is that I then went to the add remove programs and uninstalled any traces of it. Then i went to the device manager to uninstall the pieces themselves. I thought i uninstalled the controller for the portable 4TB hard drives and the PCMIA controllers (2) for the addonics piece.
When i rebooted, windows shows the loading screen then it goes to black and does not show the desktop or the login screen or anything, it just sits there.
I feel like i accidently uninstalled something important and now i am screwed because it wasnt even my computer, i was trying to help a friend. Hopefully he does not kill me for this, and even more hopefully i can fix this quickly.
PLEASE HELP, i am freaking out, this is bad.
