Help Game Website useability and format testing

  #1
Jan 26th, 2008
Hi,

This is not an advertisement...

Last year we launched Last 2 Left, a website that offers a unique, online game for sports, reality TV and other major contests. We came up with this game concept with the goal being that it would be extremely easy to understand and play. It was meant to be an alternative to fantasy games that require way too much time. After being in place for a year with moderate success, we are looking for outside critiques to make it better.

So, I'm looking for feedback in the following areas:

1. Is the game format - how to play, how to win, and rules, easy to understand?

2. Do the initial landing pages seem overwhelming? Are you inclined to play/go further or just leave? Example page: Daytona 500 landing page

3. Many people start games but very few follow through on getting others to play. Is the website confusing or is it a matter of just not following through?

4. Overall feedback on the site navigation, design, useability and registration process.

5. What do you think the site is missing? what did you expect to see but didn't? What would you add to make it better?

Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to critique my site. As a professional in the interactive world, I will attempt to provide feedback to others here as well.

Well my only critic for your website is that you have to log in to play games

If you want to people to come to your website and play games...your going to have to get rid of that..or make it so that unregistered users can play a certain amount of games...and registered users can play ALL games...

But right now If i were in need of playing a game..I would go to your website then leave because I want to get right into a game....not have to go through the process of signing up..registering.. all that

Other then that I like the format, colors and the landing pages

Thanks, maui_mallard.

The reason we have everyone create an account is so that they can create private games, join the message board, create a personal page and play in any game in one step.

Please try it out and see what you think after play a couple games. Thanks.
