Hi,

Not sure whats happening, my desktop background turned white (wallpaper disappeared).
When I go to the desktop property --> under Desktop tab, the "Background" option is gray/inaccessible. --> when go to Customize Desktop --> there should be 2 tabs: General & Web, however right now the Web tab is missing.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The log looks clean, can you create another user account and log in with that account to see if you get a desktop? It could be as simple as a corrupted profile.

I did create a new user account. It works fine.

Any idea what happened with the other user profile?

If I have to stick with the new user account, is there a way I can xfer/copy the profile to the new account?
