Scenario:
during your weekly network maintenance run for one your customers you notice that one of your manages switches is not responding to ping commands. You take a look at the switch and find that the main uplink port is not functioning.
Causes of the problem:

Cause of the problem: Users who can't spell.

Symptoms of the problem: you already list the MAIN symtoms another could be network down time
Solution to the problem: change the WIC ( if its on one)
