Trying to learn from error messages(general error c10100b1)

Greetings

I just installed Virtual and I am trying to learn from it.. I was running a program which I believe to have no problems in the coding. My question is the following.. When I try to compile the program I get the following error
1>------ Build started: Project: Shapes, Configuration: Release Win32 ------
1>Embedding manifest...
1>mt.exe : general error c10100b1: Failed to load file "..\Release\Shapes.exe". The system cannot find the path specified.
1>Build log was saved at "file://c:\Documents and Settings\gcardona\Desktop\Gus Docs\C\Visual\Shapes\Shapes\Release\BuildLog.htm"
1>Shapes - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)
========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========

and I have no idea what this means. i have tried to look in old posting for the same type of error but havent been able to find it. Does Virtual numbered its erros, because that will be a good thread to have, but then again, rookie here, don't know much about the program. But I digress, does anybody understand what the problem may be. Thank you

It's telling you that it can't find the the first file.
You probably need to enter the path in the IDE

Second, it saved details of the build attempt in the path specified.
