well...i'm a novice programmer in ASP.NET. i want my web application 2 send emails.i've tried couple of things using IIS smtp, but that code sends emails in the "queue" directory of localhost smtp. How to get rid of it..?

and wat if i want to send e-mails in Outlook Express "inbox"?does it require ny kind of configuration...?

plz help me out!!

System.net.mail sends emails through the queue. However, system.web.mail (which is "obselete"), still works and sends them immediately. Look up system.web.mail examples, and you can still use smtp
