Hey guys!
I'm the editor-in-chief of an online magazine called The Cheers - http://www.thecheers.org. It's volunteer based magazine with contributors all around the world. As no money goes through us, we are looking for ways to advertise us without any monetary resources available. So we are always up for different kind of exchange deals and such.
We have been in business for 6 months, the magazine's potential is huuuge. I think once you check it (http://www.thecheers.org) you believe me. We have over 100 journalists working with us from all around the world. And in addition we also have photographers, cartoonists, etc. We have volunteer contributors from over 20 different countries. And that's something that makes us special.
We are no marketers and we haven't been able to find any other volunteers who would be able to do it well either. So we have serious problems with marketing. And yesterday we - I and some of our main contributors - decided that it can't continue like that. The number of readers have been really low, between 50-1500 unique visitors a day, the average being somewhere in 100-150. And we decided that if we can't get the number up to at least 1000uniques/day within the next two months, we'll shut the mag down. But we really wouldn't like to do that. As lets be honest - we have great content and we have even better content coming for future issues. We have a great team and great ideas. But we are really shit marketers. So we are looking for people who would help us with that side.
I know we don't qualify as a 'high traffic' site, at least just not yet, but I would be interested in finding out if maybe some of you would be ready to give us a hand? Maybe just in a form of simple banner exchange? If it brings us lots of new readers, then we could also write an article about you, your site in exchange and how it has helped us. Additionally we will also be launching an online unsigned music and comedy radio station, free advertising plots for you there would be a possibility in the future as well.
Huh, this piece came out just a bit too long. But if there is anyone out there who would be ready to help us/partner with us, please be sure to contact me ASAP. My email address is editor@thecheers.org
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
