Unable to execute a video file in browser using Java

Hi all,
I am new to Java, I have been playing a video file using Java JMF in applets but am unable to play it in a browser, the program runs well while using appletviewer <filename>.
I am worried about it :cry: ,
it is really very important for me to complete it.....
