Occasionally after rebooting my laptop from sleep, I'll get an error reading "Win32 Services Error" rendering the laptop nonfunctional until I reboot. Under event viewer I see:


I've done some research on my own and it seems that this is the result of a failed virus exploiting a hole in Microsoft Office (I have MS Office 2007).

I tried applying a patch from Microsoft but not success.
