There are many things you can do to ensure you're making your content stimulating for the search engines as well as for your visitors. Getting your web site listed on the search engines for your very specific keywords, is going to be your key to developing highly target traffic. There's no point in having traffic at all unless they are interested in what you are offering- they'll all be dead leads otherwise. I'll try and list a few suggestions, but I will agree with one of your posts already - discussing the blogs... this has worked for me tremendously!
The first key step in laying the foundation for your web site is to do a complete Keyword Analysis and Assessment to determine whether your topic of choice has highly demanded keywords associated to it and also, how many web sites already exist within the search engines who are offering similar content. Where demand is greater than supply, you can validate that the profit potential for your web site niche is high! There is a lot to learn in this area... check out my link to find out more info on this: << url snipped >>
Targeted Traffic is Great. But Without Conversion, It's Just Traffic
The mission of your web site should be to inform and persuade your web site visitors to interact and click more deeply into your web site. Each additional click, demonstrates your ability to persuade and convert your visitors to take the actions that you’re guiding them through.
To Persuade and Convince Your Web Site Visitors, You Have to Give Them "The Meat"
In the web site world, "the meat" is found in the words you use to persuade your visitors to take action. Your conversion success depends on how effective your copywriting is at convincing and persuading your web site visitors to take the actions you want them to take. By weaving your relevant, highly profitable keywords into persuasive copywriting, you can deliver the valuable and relevant information your visitors are looking for.

Have you added your keywords and description to your meta tags? This is a topic that has been argued about, whether or not search engines use meta data... but you're better off covering all of your territory!
Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Have an awesome day,
Melissa

Techniner, as you can see in the forum rules announcement, posted in multiple places, no reference to your website or URLs are permitted within these forums. The reason for this is because if we didn't have this rule, we would receive numerous threads such as: "Please help me promote my site www.site.com" or "How can I get more members to www.myforum.com?" - the entire forum would turn into a spamfest.
If you think that your product, service, or website genuinely has something that our memers would be interested in, please consider advertising with us. Advertising is the way that this community stays alive - if we allowed everyone to simply plug their website in the forums, we would not have the financial resources to stay alive.
I understand that you feel that your website is of interest to readers of this thread, and therefore feel you should be able to post it. However, as a techie and web development community, nearly all webmasters who visit here have sites that are of interest to our members - in that respect, your site is not unlike the sites of the rest of our 35,000 members.
In addition, once you have reached our ten post minimum (and 10 posts certainly isn't a lot at all!) you will have permission to use forum signatures, to write blogs, and to post in our Site Reviews forum. All that we require is that you make 10 small contributions to our site, and then we allow you to plug your website in those three ways.
Thank you for understanding and following our forum policy.

hi csgal
the way i understand it "techniner" has nothing to gain from posting that url. he/she uses that piece of software and it works so he/she wants to share it.
I am not critisizing the rules (on the contrary), i think the rules are really good.
i have no need for the software so the url isnt neccessary to me
I would like to add to all thathas been said;
write (or hire someone) keyword rich artciles for your website. Also submit it to quality Article Sirectories. As these gives you theme based one-way links for your website.
also if you can then publish few Press Release. This would really boost your site's traffic and increase awareness.
