im asking cause i noticed it came with a power cable, and my current 7600gt didint comme with one so im not sure if it will work.

my mobo is a dell DM051 and the chipset is North Bridge: Intel Lakeport-G i945G

if i cant or cant work can some explain still how i connect the power cable from the gpu? or if i even need to use it?

no. there is no power cable in that dell. also the power supply cant handle a card that good - its only 305w - a 7600 is probably maxing it out already. i run an x1650 pro on my dell.

what about the cable adapter that comes with the card? and will it still work without the power cable? because i heard of them running without them
