I wanted to download a certain song last friday night, but it said that I needed to install something...so like an idiot, I installed it. well...it turned out to be a spyware...a couple nights ago, I set about fixing it, downloaded avast and virus ranger...that did not work. I tried to download win antispy, but...I dont know. avast stopped me saying that it had malware, and I tried downloading other anti-spyware but, microsoft says that there was an error and it shut down the download of 3 different anti-spyware...I have no idea what the hell is going on...but I know everytime my computer is on I get pop ups that want me to install something to delete porn on my computer...haha, like Im gunna fall for that. and I get the popup boxes and my norton goes crazy, saying that I have a win32 trojan. So I know where it came from...I found most of the virus on my computer, but I couldnt delete it because It was in use....please help me...Im so confused...

have it scan and when its done, copy and paste the log file in your next reply.

Hi lozlachic17,

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team responding. What Norton product and version do you have installed? Also, what version of Windows are you using?

Please make sure that you have run LiveUpdate to make sure that you have the latest program and definition updates. Please run LiveUpdate as many times as needed, until it tells you that you have all of the latest updates.

Next, please boot into Safe Mode in Windows and then run a Full System Scan from there. Some infections can only be removed while booted into Safe Mode.

Please try these steps and let me know the outcome.

Thanks,
Mike
