Just a quick question I'm going to buy a new DVD burner to increase the speed of burning my dvd's and my question is, will this new burner conflict with the cd/dvd burner that was installed by the manufacturer?

I run on an: T3958 eMachines D845GVSR Motherboard

Thanks,
Mark

Should be fine, I believe this Motherboard was made by Intel. Depends if you have spare connectors on the ribbon (if it's IDE).

Just buy a SATA dvd drive and you will for sure be fine. just make sure your mobo has SATA connections.

the sata drives are a couple bucks more but i think you will be happy with the performance.
