This is a new role and it provides an excellent opportunity for an eager, dynamic, high quality engineer to grow his/her skills while contributing to the development of world-class product. The successful applicant will have responsibility for the design, implementation, testing and subsequent enhancement and maintenance of core software components of their products, with specific emphasis on low-level network drivers and communications. We're seeking demonstrable experience in C and C++ development with very strong experience in low-level network drivers and communications on Linux. This twinned with: experience of writing highly optimised performant and high availability code; experience in Linux and/or other Unix distributions.
Nice-to-have's include: experience in developing security products; knowledge of database systems (DB2, Oracle, MYSQL, SQL Server etc); reverse engineering protocols etc. If you don't yet have these you very soon will! Culturally we're seeking a natural team player and self-starter, dynamic, bright, enthusiastic and self contained who can operate independently and manage their own workload. ALL salary levels considered from c£35-50k. An exceptional career move!
