Keep getting stop message DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL relating to uhcd.sys

Hi there,

Upon booting up the pc, I repeatedly receive the blue screen of death for the above stop message. I figured it had something to do with the USB driver stack but I'm clueless as how to go about fixing it. I'm running Windows 2000/ on an AMD processor. Help!

Have you a HP printer attached? Disconnect it, boot into safe mode and uninstall the printer.

If that fixes the problem, search HP's site for a fix or patch.

Thanks that seems to hv fixed the blue screen... now what am i gonna do without a printer? Hmm.

you should have just tried to just update all the drivers.
