Please Help, I Have A Really Annoying Virus Problem - "Internet Service"

Basically IE8 beta now has a toolbar that I can't get rid of called "Internet Service." When I tried uninstalling the program via the control panel I got a message that said I needed to restart my computer to continue before I could uninstall it. And then nada, it's still there.

I'm also getting random pop-ups during my non-internet use which say that a virus has been detected with a clearly faked MS Defender Logo, that says I should go somewhere to download a program that can "fix" it. Clearly I'm not gonna get duped any farther down the hole so I haven't clicked on those.

Also getting Windows Alert boxes on my Taskbar which says my computer is operating at half speed and internet at 39% blablabla with another clearly faked logo.

Could someone please help me get rid of this virus(es). If it helps any I remember installing an Active X plugin in order to watch a video. I remember having had a similar problem with a plugin before but I checked the site on Google to check if there were any results that warned it was a virus and I found none.

Here's the Hijack this log.

Probably not related, but currently a lot of people are seeing problems with IE7Pro running with IE 8. Have you tried uninstalling this?

In my case, this crashes IE8 Beta 2

As I said, may not be related, but worth a go... You can always put it back on again.

Apologies, irrelevant answer above...

Just out of interest, is your IE7Pro install responding correctly?
