So I've been having an incredibly frustrating problem with a piece of spyware on my computer. I've tried every way I can to get rid of it, leaving posting here as a last option.

I downloaded hijackthis in order to post my log here, but after downloading it, hijackthis won't open. I've re-downloaded it, and from various different sites, and still it won't open. I've also noticed that another spyware remover that I had on my computer wouldn't open.

Maybe it's just a fluke, or maybe its because of the spyware, which I am pulling at my hair to get rid of

If you guys can post a reply and help me out, i'd appreciate it forever. This is really getting at me that I can't get this fixed, and I need some help.

EDIT: Below is a screen of the icon I get from the spyware, from what I know, its not uncommon
