Problem Capturing video with AIW 9600XT

  #1
Sep 29th, 2004
I have a All-In-Wonder 9600 XT card and when I try capturing video via composite and RCA jacks it only captures the top bar of the video and the audio. I used Pinnacle studio 8, ATI multimedia TV, and Roxio DVD Builder and they all had the same effect no matter what I changed the settings to. This is ironic because my father has a AIW 9800 Pro and his card does the same thing. I have downloaded the newest capture drivers, and all of the drivers that i know of and nothing has changed. Has anyone had this problem?

Hmmm, never had this problem, but I have had other problems with video capture devices/drivers. Is S-Video avaliable to capture the video from? if so, try that...otherwise possibly check with ATi to see if there are any fixes on their site, because mine was an ATi card as well.
