Hi,
I m developing a web application for video streming, but my client requires that as the user loging or singin in the site the web cam must be start automatically, and if the hardware is not found than a prompt must be displayed that "Your system doesn't support webcam facility'
I m trying to solve this problem since last 2 weeks, but i m not able to solve it. So any of u is able to solve it, plz try 4 me, i m requesting u people.

I don't believe you will find a way to access remote hardware using PHP.

Guess you can do it in java or flash. Or you write you own lib and access it via exec. Could be worth trying it.

I dont think that can be done using php. As sDjh has already mentioned, try that in java/flash or in .NET !
