Problems with Word 2000

Have lost the header from Word 2000.
Deleted and re-installed.
Removed all references from registry.
On re-install, same problem!.
Help!

As a partime windoze user, I really should stick to Linux!.

What do you mean by "header?" That word has several meanings in this context, and the differences matter.

Worst-case, of course, you could install OpenOffice.org instead...
