Hello can anyone help me with this problem? I installed a Xerox M15i printer on Win 98 using USB port. When I send a print job, whether a Test Page or another job it returns the error message: Data error (Cyclic Redundancy Check). I do not get the error if I use LPT1 port only if I use USB port and drivers. I uninstalled the drivers then reboot and reinstall and get the same error.

check device manager if the usb driver is working properly, try using another usb cable and make sure also that you disconnect LPT1 when you use the usb cable... hope this helps...
