Help-taking information from 2 files and combining them into one with loop structure

HI i AM TRYING TO WRITE A SHELLS SCRIPT THAT WILL TAKE INFORMATION FROM 2 FILES AND COMBINE IT INTO ONE FILE USING LOOP, NOW i AM STUCK i GOT THE 2 FILES

ONE IS NAMED DATE
THE OTHER IS NAME

THE DATE FILE CONTAINS PEOPLES NAMES WITH A A DATE
EX- MONICA MONDAY

THE OTHER FILE NAME , IS NAMES WITH PHONE NUMBERS

MONIKA- 123 123 1234

NOW I GOT THE FILES MADE
BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT LOOP STURCUTE TO USE AND HOW TO USE IT SO THAT IT WILL PRINT THE INFORMATION IN ORDER OF DATE PLUS WITH THE WRITE PHONE NUMBERS WITH IT.
