Hey guys
I have a machine thats on a network and whenever I try to log in it does the logon process but comes right back to the welcome screen.the read it gives is:
"starting windows..."
"logging of"
I strongly believe that the problem lies within the registry since I've changed the drive letter inside my registry without backing my registry(I know its crazy
)
So without being able to get inside windows(Ive tried safe mode as well),is there a way to fix the error without having to reinstall windows.

You can boot off the XP disc and get into the recovery console and repair the registry this way.
