Well one major problem is this: When I go to your site, I see absolutely nothing. I see the default IPB skin, which doesn't tell me anything. I see one single forum with a post in it that says "Guests may not see the rest of the forums, you must register", etc.
That policy will not get anybody to join your site. You should make most forums visible to guests so that people will be compelled to sign up. You should also invest some time into learning how to skin your forum. Nobody likes the default skin
Why should I sign up just to see if there's something I like or not? I'm not being mean, I'm just being honest about why nobody signs up.

Okay, but that has nothing to do with the fact that there is just nothing on your site.....
Having actual content that non-registered people can actually see would be step 1, I think....

Plus, I'd say to advertise your forums in marketing places and whatever else you can find. That is what I am about to do when my forums open up, which may be another 1-3 weeks before they open because I am trying to mod the board before releasing.
