Hi, When I switch my computer on it works fine. However the monitor wont stay on for more than 3 seconds. The LCD light comes on but I have to turn the monitor on and off to get the 3 seconds. A couple of days ago if I was really quick when I had the 3 seconds if I clicked on a programme in the start menu it would then stay on until I switched the computer off. Any suggestions guys I sooooooooooooo need my computer.

if you have a different monitor try it and see if you get the same problem or if you have another computer, try the monitor in question on the other computer.

if you try a different monitor and it works then the problem is with the monitor, if a different monitor does not work then its with the computer
