I have been trying to get Sys Mechanic defrag running on my machine but for some reason I get errors like "Access Violation" or "SM encountered a problem. Run scandisk etc.". On running scandisk my PC seems to be fine. Also, it only gives me the problem on my work PCs which are Win2k Pro and Win XP Pro, but works fine on my home PC where I am admin. My work PCs have me setup as part of the admin group but I am not admin. Is this the problem and if so is there a workaround?
Thanks in advance,
Arshad
