Configuration problem in FREEWAY

I'm having difficulty setting permissions in MySQL and setting up the correct paths for the installation/configuration process in Freeway. Here's the message I'm getting:
cd/Users/********/Sites/freeway/includes/
touch configure.php
chmod 706 configure.php
ch/Users/********/Sites/freeway/admin/includes/
touch configure.php
chmod 706 configure.php
I'm installing this software on a Mac. I'm not familiar with these terms or this process. Any help is appreciated.
