+-- Core Reason --+

My main search of work is for general purposes. I am looking for anything in the fields of phpBB Installing. This includes General Installations, Mod Installations, and Template Installations.

I am investing in a business that I am in the stages of planning out for the future. Portions of the funding will go to the business and the rest will go towards other reasons. This is for the reason that there are other things that I need funding for, and that is why I am doing this job.

+-- Pricing Table --+

The pricing that I charge ranges from some ways. Below is the table for pricing:

Small Mods (0KB-25KB Install File) - $2.00/ Per Mod
Medium Mods (26KB-45KB Install File) - $3.00/ Per Mod
Large Mods (46KB-60KB Install File) - $4.00/ Per Mod
Super Large Mods (61+KB Install File) - $5.00/ Per Mod

Template Installation (Must Not Have NO Mods Installed) - $1.00/ Per Template

phpBB Server/Host Move - $15
Database Backup and Transfer - $10

Language Pack Install - $2

Avatar Installing/Image Installations - $3
Custom Logo for phpBB - $25/ Shared $125/ Exclusive
Additional Templates - $4/ Per Template
Custom phpBB Template - $185/ Exclusive

General phpBB 2.0.10 Installation - $5.00/ Per Installation

Maintenance and Repairs - $4.00/ Per Repaired Mods

Payments are only accepted through PayPal, and may NOT be a credit card payment. I don't have a Business or Premier account, therefore cannot receive any of them.

All payments must be sent before the work begins.

+-- Restrictions and Other Fees --+

Some restrictions apply to my work that I do. Some are listed below here:

-- You must have a functionable Domain Name, as well as Paid Hosting
-- Site content must be legal, and no pornography may be present at all
-- Atleast 16 Years Old (Due to Various Reasons)
-- Cannot access forum files while installation is in progress and permission is given installation is completely done
-- Maintenance and Repairs are to be reviewed before paying

I charge a labor fee for the work that I do, I charge $5 for each hour of work that I do, along with the payments of the mods. So for example, if you have 5 small modifications that take 1 hour of work to do, the total is $15 which to many people would say is not much.

+-- Requirements and Logging --+

For each site that I do, I log eveything down. I log down the following information/data:

-- Owner Name
-- Date(s)
-- Modifications
-- Total Time
-- URL
-- Payment Total
-- Owner E-Mail

This will support future references. The log will be updated every so often. It will be in 2 seperate files, 1 for me (which will include ALL clients installations and a single one, which will be used for whenever you would like to review the log.)

Some REQUIREMENTS are these, and believe me, confidentiality is my 100% guarentee. I will never resell, lease, or promote your information for any reason, what so ever. The required information I will need to collect is:

FTP Address, Username, Password
CPanel URL, Username, Password
Admin Forum Username and Password
Database Username and Password

The above information will be kept confidential and will also be logged for future installations.

+-- Past Work and Testimonials --+

Currently, I do not have any testimonials. I have done work with past sites, below are just a few that I have done:

-- ItalianCites Game
-- Airline Talk
-- Nikaz (Country) Forums

They are a few of what I have done, templates and installation ranging on them.

+-- My Resumé --+

If you would like to request and review my full resumé for what I have done, PM me through the DaniWeb PM System. Serious Inquiries only. The resumé includes various information, such as my information and past work and more about my phpBB Knowledge.

+-- Maintenance and Repairs --+

During the time of the installations, a restriction is for nobody is allowed to access the files, to save from getting things damaged and maintenance and repairs being needed. If you access the files and mess something up in the time of installation, you will be charged the Maintenance and Repairs fee, which can be found above.

Before paying, like the restrictions says, you must not pay until I verify that I can fix the mod, this will save us both trouble.

+-- Questions and Conerns --+

You can always contact me through this PM system if you would like to find out more. Contact me for more details.

Hey,
I paid you to do mods on my site that needed to be done quickly. I paid you up front and now you are not responding to any of my emails. This really stinks as I joined this site because I thought I would be able to find dependable help. This is a bad first impression. What are we going to do about this. I really just wany my money back. I will keep this forum posted as to the progress of this problem. I really hope you fix this asap.

Thanks
Bryan

Moderator's Caution:

Be advised that Daniweb does not screen, recommend, or guarantee any of the services offered in this forum, nor do we involve ourselves in any disputes that may arise from business agreements entered into by members availing themselves of the services posted here.

A commentary post stating a member's satisfaction
(or dissatisfaction) with the quality of a service rendered is permissible, but beyond that, disputes between parties are to be handled outside of this site.

In other words- This thread will not become an arena for argument.

Totally understood- I just wanted to make it clear that if you and Young Teck have any problems/issues to resolve, you'll have to deal with them elsewhere. Members have gotten into such squabbling matches here before, and it's nothing but ugly...

I should have added to this thread sooner.
He did end up finishing the job as promised. Definitely not a good job on the mods I have to say but he did finish the job. My forums structure is complicated though so it may have been that.
I would simply suggest that if you choose to have this person install mods on your site please back up the site first.
He is a good person I have to say and is very eager to resolve issues but He is very firm on his no refund policy also. Even if he messes up the job he wont refund you. I have to rate this modder 50/50 simply because his intentions are good.

First off, let me apologize for the terrible experience that you had to see Bryan, you are right, your forum structure was a bit complicated and with the addition that it already had mod's installed was a workaround. But I must say, it sharpened up the edges that I did miss in my mod installing. I've developed a new set of tactics though to help defeat these in the future.

On the policy of my "no refund" --- yes I do stand by that. Once my work has began there is no refund policy (as this is being a website job thoroughly) it is easy to get ripped for an easy job. BUT BUT BUT... if you request a refund BEFORE the work begins, then I'll gladly refund you back as soon as I can.

Thank you for the kind words and all of that, I am a determined individual to complete a job, that is like my motto. So yes, I will work to finish a job if its feasibly possible in my range (in other words, if you paid for a mod installing and then realize that 2 mod's conflict and need slight custom coding, this'll be billed seperately for a little more an hour... just for the time of the custom coding.)

Either way, I'm still looking forward to possibly working more with you in the future, please feel free to email me in a new email to keep job opp's seperately. Thank you.
