\windows\system32\config\system

Hey y'all...electricity went out at my house last night and popped right back on...well when i turned my computer on this is what i got....

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows setup using the original Setup CD-ROM.

Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair."

Ok...here is the problem...i don't have the original CD! I have a cd that has Windows XP Pro on it and changed the drive sequence to make the CD-ROM drive the first to boot from, but that doesn't help! Does anyone know of anywhere that i can go to get this setup disk? i have a dell xps 200...free preferrably.

Any help y'all can give would be awesome! I look forward to hearing from y'all.

Peace and love,
Kimberly
