NEED HELP: Can't install any programs

Hello to all member of this forum.
I need your help guys, I encountered problem with my PC,
1. I can't open any program in my PC and install any programs or I can run the setup but after few minutes it will close by istelf
2. I decided to reinstall the Windows XP still the same problem I encountered.
Please advice what should I do and if you think that I need to format give me also where can I download the bootable disk and how is the procedure for formatting.

i think he means an emergency boot, and as far as installing, are you an admin?
if not thats ur problem
if so, what are you trying to install?
did you download ANYTHING after re-install? this INCLUDES microsoft updates
when u did a re-install was it clean? as in did you reformat ALL the partitions or was there data ANYWHERE on the drive?
these will help to troubleshoot this
