Hi, thanks in advance for any help received, got myself a 4th hand sony vgc-m1 have re-installed windows xp using my own legit copy, having trouble installing some .sys drivers manually i.e I can't ( lol ) The reason for doing it manually is that the device does not appear in device manager so cannot go down that road. Any help would bw kindly appreciated and if I have posted this incorrectly then I am very sorry, this is my 1st ever forum post ( 38 year old forum virgin ) Regards
I think what you need to do first is to find and install the motherboard chipset drivers.
