No recording on DVD/CD

I have programs mounted via NTI CD & DVD Maker 7, when I run the program it shows that every this is burning OK and I even get a conformation window to say everything was completed. When I reinsert the DVD/CD it is empty, blank!! What am I doing wrong???

Do you in fact have a CD burner?

Is the burner program in simulation mode?

Daylight-saving time uses more gasoline

I have a DVD/CD burner and I and it is in burn am running Vista 32mode with checker to report on the burning. It returns a message that the burning took XXX time and was sucessful. I can burn the same disk with the same or diferent data as many times as I want and it still wont record. I have used the Vista copy and paste to burn CDs and DVDs and it has worked but I can not separate the programe I want to burn from the mounted NTI CD & DVD Maker 7.
