linksys wireless router dd-wrt configurations

i need help with the step by step setting for my router. I set my router over at my next door so i can use his internet. He has comcast and getting 22608 on the down for speed test now when i do a speed test from my comp. i get 5235 down how do i increase my bandwiedth so i can get the full thing
