I have a Dell Dimension 8300 running Win XP SP2. In it I have one DVD-Rom drive and one DVD+RW drive. They both quit reading discs at the same time so I do not believe it is a hardware issue. For the heck of it I threw in a cd-rom of drivers that came with my computer and, to my surprise, it actually opened in a window. For the most part, no other dvds or cds can be read though. I am able to burn cds but I get the "no disc in drive" message about a dozen times before it actually works. I already checked all my wired connections. Any ideas???
