  #1
May 20th, 2008
hi all,

Is there a code where i can check from all the existing tables if a certain variables exist in it? I am currently working on a project but the tables are not linked properly, having a hard time trying to find out how many tables actually have the same variable as the key table.

Thanx

What do you mean when you say you want to find out "how many tables actually have the same variable as the key table?"

Hi again,

you need to query the system tables (dictionary/catalogue) of MySql. Start with columns table.
