I was hoping to get some feedback on the site we just put up. It's being hosted here at home and my girlfriend totally redesigned the forum style.. Please let me know whatcha think.. The Games page still needs to be fixed but other than that I think everything else is running fine. It's running on a 266MHz machine and it shares that machine with our FTP server, so I'm actually kinda curious as to whether it'll be able to handle any kinda real load.. Anywayz.. Its good, a little over powering mabey, and there is red roll overs on red backround but i like your phpbb style, where did u learn to make it, if you made it urself that is?

I tried it four times (using IE 6) and got "The page can not be displayed" message.

My girl did it.. (as you can tell, her favorite color is red) .. she's been doin websites for a long time... she threw that together in 2 days so I'm pretty happy with it and I was kinda blown away when she whipped out animated titlebars.. And as far as the site being unavailable goes, we have unfortunately had problems with our DSL signal dropping intermittently for random lengths of time ever since we upgraded our service from 1.5Mbits to 3.0Mbits... SBC Global is our ISP and they've sent 3 technicians here and still nothin.. so I dunno what to do about that situation. So if ya can't get through, please try back a little later.. it may drop out, but it always comes back ... strangest thing about it is that if it's out, I'll start to open a dial up connection, and as soon as the 56K modem picks up the phone line and starts to dial, the DSL light will come to life and start flashing.. and the moment the 56K modem connects, the DSL light goes stready and I'm back online... strangest thing I've seen in a long time.. Just wanted to say thanks for the comments.. It's appreciated.. we were down for a week while we tried to get everything over to the server we just rented space on but it was a real headache so we're back to hosting at home for the moment till I figure out how to do what we need to do which is convert a phpBB 2.0.10 database to run on a 2.0.6 system.. I don't think I've ever done a 'downgrade' before so it's kind of a new area for me.. suggestions are welcome. Till then I'm off to search phpBB for an answer.. peace
