ok, so i play this game called allegiance. they only allow each computer to have 1 account. i want to bypass this and make 2. formatting and getting a new ip address does not work. i got a message once that said the way they do this is by

"scanning a computers hardware to uniquely identify it"

any ideas? are there numbers assigned to my hdds or mobo? can i change these numbers with some sort of software?

they can also get your operating systems id and post it to your game account. there are many different ways to mark a computer.
