Hello Folks,
I myself and two of my colleagues have spent nearly 6 months building a website that caters for local and small business and the local community. The idea is similar to Yelp! for UK market. However, now the project is at stall. We need some truly constructive feedback before we invest more time, effort and money into the makings of this site, we need insight from users to proceed in right direction.
What will be truly benificial for us is your HONEST opinion on any area of the website that you think we can improve. Even if you think that we have just wasted our 6 months, your opinion will be treated with utmost respect (just I wont guarantee that we will quit - thats out of Q)
The site is www.thebusinesshours.co.uk
Please please take a monet to review and give me your genuine feedback. I will really appreciate it and in return - be on my toes when you require a help that I can avail.
Thanks to all in advance!!

Hey, nice site. One thing I have noticed is that on the 'talk' page the images for what I can assume are users avatars, you have hard coded the dimensions to 40px by 40px. If users upload images with large dimensions you are going to use a lot of bandwidth as the full size images are downloaded by the browser. Have you not considered resizing these images as they are uploaded and these can link to the larger version if user wish to see them?
