Hi. Just moved to a new apartment and tried to restart the computer with Windows 2000 Pro OS. Goes through the motions and then stops on a white screen with "ACTIVE DESKTOP RECOVERY". The computer does not have the internet. It has never been connected to the internet since I purchased it on ebay 1 year ago. What is worse is that the keyboard and mouse are not recognized nor operating. I have tried several keyboards and mice, no luck.

PLEASE HELP! My laptop died this AM and so I am now computerless!
