.Net EXE error due to manifest file in Winows 2003

Hi,

We have developed one small project in vs2005 (VB .Net).

In all Operating System we successfully able to launch the exe except windows server 2003.

In windows server 2003 it is giving error like this "the application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

i have closely look and see that when this exe first time launches it will create an manifest file i.e. [program name].exe.manifest if i will delete this file then only application will launch.

Example. exe launched one's manifest file is created. i have closed the exe again if i will launched then it will give above error . if i will delete the manifest it will launched again and so on. this only happens on Windows server 2003 machine.

So is their any way to avoid creating the manifest when exe is launched from VB .Net.

Waiting for the reply.

Thanks and regards,
Virendra
