hi,
can anybody help meup with this problem?
i'm using windows XP sp1 and sometimes when i switch on my laptop and login into window XP, it's seems like the svchost.exe (system) is running at 99
when i press alt+ctrl+del. it seems like no sound coming from my computer and programme are running really slow. When i reboot my computer,it's seem like the whole system return to normal. It usually happened when i dont open my laptop for several days.
I've scan for viruses (there are some virus found-W32.korgo.X,w32.korgo.v,w32.spybot.worm and download.trojan) but i've repaired and deleted the file.I've reformatting my com but it still doesn't work.
Any solution to this problem?

Have you updated your antivirus? You should probably try an online scan with
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
and
http://www.pandasoftware.com/actives..._principal.htm
Also please could you move Hijackthis to a permenant directory so that it can make backups. (Currently it's in a temp folder).
Cheers
Dave

If neither of those works (wait for a senior member of the forums to confirm this post BEFORE you follow these instructions)
Check the box next to this: O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [Media service] msn64.exe
Then reboot in safe mode, search for msn64.exe and delete it.

it's seems like i already scan and remove the virus but the problem still occuring. Is this because of virus or because or any software or hardware problem. For your information, this problem already occured since the second time i open my laptop.I bring to my technician and they said it was because of virus and already reformat my hdd for me but now the problem still coming up and it's now more frequent to hang..please help me..i'm out of idea now.
So have you made any changes since your last hjt log? If so, post a new one, otherwise you'll have to wait for crunchie or someone to confirm.

just to ask a question here..i was now started to use my wireless inernet connection and i realised that the device is not working properly. My laptop can detect the wireless connection but i couldn't access any website and the status shows that the sent bytes was so few.Is this related to svchost problem or is my device that cause the problem before.Kindly wait for help here.THanks
