This is super frustrating!!! My computer stopped running Security Task Manager and would not enter safe mode. I read a post that suggested using the safeboot option on the boot.ini tap in winconfig. i tried did and now the system reboots after you select any option from the F8 menu at startup. Ive got stuff I need on that computer for work tommorow and am getting nervous about my situation. the machine runs xp pro sp2 and am writing this from a borrowed laptop. Can anyone help?
