IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers doubled
![]() |
I'm not so wise in regards to my hardware or OS, so this might be a silly question:
I just upgraded XP home to XP Professional, and when I look in my Device Manager I see that I have some duplicate and close to duplicate entries:
Intel(R)82801GB Serial ATA Storage Controllers - 27C0
Intel(R)82801GB Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 27DF
Primary IDE Channel
Primary IDE Channel
Secondary IDE Channel
Secondary IDE Channel
I'm just wondering if this is normal or if it might cause conflicts.
If not normal, what actions should I take.
