My computer screen keeps randomly blacking out and I have no idea what to do.
I'll start it up, use it for a while and then it seems to still be running but I cant see anything but a black screen.
I have tried everything to get it to go back but nothing helps, it just goes back on it's own time.
The green light is still on when it blacks out.
It doesn't even matter what I'm playing or doing it does it anyways.
It happens all the time and is driving me crazy! Please help me outt!

PS I don't know a lot about this kinda stuff, and I don't speak 'techie', just give it to me straight!

the first thing you need to do is to find out if it's the monitor or the computer thats at fault. If you can swap the monitor with a known good monitor, or connect the monitor in question to a different computer.

if you use a known good monitor with the computer in question and you get the same result then it's possibly the graphics card in the computer thats at fault.

if you connect the monitor in question to a different computer and you get the same result then chances are the monitor needs to be replaced.
